DANGEROUS GOODS COMPLIANCE LEAD - CORK

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is one of Ireland’s leading Water and Wastewater
Treatment Plants design & build Contractors.

The successful candidate will be the Dangerous Goods Compliance Lead
for our Hazardous Waste business unit. 

Our main office is based in Fermoy, Co. Cork but you will be working
on a hybrid basis between our sites and working from home.

This is a customer facing role as we are a Environmental Services
Company. 

You will act as the main point of contact across the business in this
area and the subject matter expert.

Overseeing all aspects of Dangerous Goods handling for our clients,
collection and transport of Hazardous Waste 

Support our Contracts Management Team in all aspects of Dangerous
Goods 

Developing and Leading the training curriculum for Dangerous Goods 

Support the Contract Management team in all aspects of Dangerous Goods
for our clients collections and transport

Manage the Dangerous Goods Audit Programme

Reviewing and improving the Dangerous Goods Management System within
our internal network 

Advising the business on any new developments or changes to dangerous
goods legislation or regulations 

Provide support and advice on any incidents and investigations
relating to dangerous goods within the business 

When required from a Dangerous Goods perspective attending client
meetings

REQUIREMENTS:

Level 7/Level 8 Degree in Chemistry and/or equivalent

Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA) Qualification (Essential) 

Environmental compliance knowledge 

Excellent knowledge of ADR Regulations

Strong communication skills 

The ability to work independently under your own initiative and the
ability to collaborate with a team
